Weather-related or Emergency School Closing
If a decision is made to close the Fulton County School System before school hours begin, you will be officially notified by- Television Broadcast Station WSB (ABC) Channel 2
- Radio Stations WSB 750 AM and WSB 98.5 FM.
- In areas outside metropolitan Atlanta, local radio stations that are part of the Peach State Public Radio Network will carry official announcements. These are the only official channels designated to report school closings.
Please note you may not see Atlanta Montessori Academy on the lists via TV or radio; however, if all Fulton County Schools are closed AMA will not open for the day.
Every attempt will be made to make decisions by 6 a.m. for the school day begins.
Parents are reminded to use their best judgment when traveling during inclement weather.
