Atlanta Montessori Academy welcomes the opportunity to serve a diverse community of students. We admit students to our programs without regard to race, gender, and national origin, social or economic levels. Applications are currently being accepted for entry into AMA's Toddler and Primary and programs.

Admissions Process:

Call the office at (404) 768-5700, you may request to have an information packet, including an application, mailed to you at the time of your call or print it off our web page.
After your tour, return the completed application form along with a non-refundable $50.00 application fee. You will be contacted to schedule a one-on-one teacher-student interview and a parent interview with the school’s Director. These interviews are usually held at the same time; weekday afternoons from 3:15-4:15p.m. The child will be invited for a second visit at which time he/she will enter a regularly scheduled class for forty-five (45) minutes.

You will be notified of your child’s status within a week of the in-class visit. Students are accepted into the program throughout the year based on the availability of space and a perceived fit of your child’s and the program’s needs. Admission decisions are at the sole discretion of AMA’s Director and the intended teacher. These decisions are based on an evaluation of the child’s interview, class visit, school transcripts and available space in the class with regard to class balance of age and gender.

If your child meets all of the criteria for our program but space is not immediately available, you will have the option of being placed on our waiting list.

If it is our judgment that your child would not adjust well to a Montessori environment, we will endeavor to recommend other academic environments that we feel might be more appropriate for your child at this time and assist you in finding the best academic situation.

A 10% tuition discount to Families with more than one child enrolled.

This applies to the tuition of the second child only. Tuition payments are due on the first of each
